Overview
This 1995 Toyota Celsior is an exceptionally well-preserved example of Toyota’s flagship luxury saloon, showing just 98,000 km from new.
Finished in elegant Pearl White over a beautiful beige leather interior, the car is in pristine condition and clearly reflects the level of care it has received throughout its life.
Under the bonnet sits Toyota’s legendary 4.0-litre V8, paired with a smooth automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. This combination made the Celsior renowned for its effortless performance, exceptional refinement and outstanding reliability.
What truly sets this example apart is its condition. Finding a Japanese luxury flagship from the 1990s that has survived this well is becoming increasingly difficult. The bodywork, beige leather interior and overall presentation remain remarkably clean, making this a fantastic example for both the enthusiast and collector.
The Celsior was Toyota’s no-compromise luxury flagship for the Japanese market and formed the basis of the Lexus LS. In its original JDM specification, however, it retains a character and presence all of its own.
