suzuki-alto-works-rs-x
Suzuki Alto

We bought this 1989 Suzuki Alto Works RS/X directly from its first owner in Japan. That is a rare provenance for a car of this age, and it comes in very good overall condition too.

The bodywork is well kept, finished in white with a silver lower section. There are a few light scratches and minor signs of use here and there, all shown in the detail photos. Overall it looks fresh and attractive, and the yellow headlights add a quirky touch that suits its cheeky character perfectly.

The interior has held up beautifully as well. The signature ‘Twin Cam Turbo’ seats have tidy upholstery and well-shaped bolsters. Clean door panels and a matching rear bench complete the picture. Details like these give this Alto the charm of a well-preserved Japanese hot hatch from the eighties.

It sits on a brand-new set of Nankang semi-slick tyres and has passed the Belgian pre-sale inspection, so it’s ready to be registered straight away. The air conditioning is currently not working; if you’d like, we can arrange a repair by mutual agreement.

Want to get to know this particular car better? Check out our viral video on TikTok and Instagram. There we show the Suzuki in more detail and share our driving impressions, so you get a real feel for its character on the road, not just from the photos.

This is the 550cc version of the Works RS/X: a true pocket rocket with a playful face and a tough heart. Its compact size and cheerful looks only tell half the story. Underneath sits a small Japanese turbo with a hefty dose of character, and in this case a great provenance and exceptionally well-kept condition to match.
